Steak and kidney pasta

Are you a fan of the classic British pub delicacy, steak and kidney pie? If your answer is a resounding ‘yes’ then you will love our pasta version! It’s deliciously tasty and only takes 20 minutes to make.


2 tbsp olive oil
200g steak strips
6 lamb kidneys, cleaned, deveined and chopped
¼ cup beef stock
¼ tsp chilli flakes
2 tbsp butter
Salt and cracked black pepper
500g linguine, cooked as per packet instructions
Parsley, to garnish
1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the steak for 5 minutes, until golden. Remove.
2. Add the kidneys to the same pan and fry for 5 minutes.
3. Add the stock and chilli and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the butter, put the steak back in, and stir. Season.
4. Toss with the linguine and serve garnished with parsley.
