What is summer, really, without a cooling delicious cocktail enjoyed at the pool or around the braai? We have been celebrating the sunny season sipping on Aperol’s signature serve, Aperol Spritz.

Aperol is Italy’s favourite aperitif and is the perfect summer aperitif bursting with orange flavour and colour. It’s low in alcohol and boasts a unique bittersweet taste that symbolises a sunny, light-hearted approach to life and sharing special moments with special people; it is the ultimate contagiously social drink.

Not only does it taste amazing, but it’s also super easy to whip up, especially with the Aperol Spritz combos now available at Tops and Liquor City. Each combo comes with one bottle each of Aperol and Cinzano Pro-Spritz, a divine Italian bubbly.

Fill a large wine glass with ice to the top.  Pour equal parts Aperol and well-chilled Cinzano Pro-Spritz.  Add a splash of soda and garnish with a slice of orange.
