Ginger power
Both fresh and powdered ginger are widely known for their medicinal properties that can conquer a cold, nausea and even pain. Regularly consuming ginger helps to create balance throughout your digestive and immune systems, promoting overall health. Incorporate it into juices to take them to another level!
Carrot, ginger and turmeric slushie
Serves 2 • Total Time 15 Min
Ingredients
5 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
½ tsp ground turmeric
½ orange juice
2 tbsp lime, zested and juiced
1 cup water
Handful of ice
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Strain liquid mixture through a fine mesh sieve and pour into 2 glasses.
- Serve with fresh lime wedges.
Mango and coconut juice
Serves 2 • Total Time 15 Min
Ingredients
½ mango, peeled and chopped
½ Banana, peeled
½ orange, peeled
1 lemon segment
1 tbsp honey
½ cup coconut water
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Strain liquid mixture through a fine mesh sieve and pour into 2 glasses.
Top tip: Use tinned mango instead of fresh ones as an alternative for when it’s out of season.
Beetroot and berry bliss julep
Serves 1 • Total Time 15 Min
Ingredients
1 large beetroot, washed and chopped
5 strawberries, hulled
Handful of raspberries
1 tbsp pomegranate rubies
1 tbsp honey
½ cup coconut water
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Strain liquid mixture through a fine mesh sieve and pour into a serving glass.
Top tip: Use frozen berries if you prefer.
Kiwi and mint juice
Serves 2 • Total Time 15 Min
Ingredients
Handful baby spinach
1 apple, sliced
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced (optional)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey
½ cup coconut water (or still water)
5 mint leaves
METHOD
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Strain liquid mixture through a fine mesh sieve and pour into 2 glasses.
Top tip: Vitamin A is key to maintaining healthy vision and the body’s natural defences. Get your daily dose in leafy greens like spinach, or in yellow, red and orange fruit and vegetables like beetroot and carrots.
