This winter Delheim has partnered with the Cape Town Music Academy (CTMA) and Jazz in the Native Yards to bring a series of Jazz and Cheese Fondues with some of Delheim’s best wines.

Every Sunday from 24 June to 26 August in 2018, there will be exciting performances from local artists, deliciously hearty fondue meals and award-winning wines to enjoy.
‘We are super stoked to be offering an inspiring showcase of fresh new talent this year,’ says Delheim’s Nora Sperling-Thiel. ‘The Jazz & Cheese Fondue series is one of our most well-supported events which now goes to the next level with three live jazz sessions/concerts per event, with superb estate wine and lingering cheese aromas thrown in for good measure.’
The events will take place in the Downstairs Cellar of Delheim, which is situated in the Simonsberg sub-region of the Stellenbosch Wine Routes. With a rich history steeped in German and South African heritages, Delheim has made it a point to showcase their stunning collections and hospitality.
Through their collaborations with the CTMA and Jazz in the Native Yards, Delheim is supporting local musicians in the South African music industry. ‘Jazz is the language of the Cape,’ says CTMA director Nico McLachlan, ‘and this year the Cape Town Music Academy and Jazz in the Native Yards are excited to join forces with Delheim to create a series of cozy winter jazz concerts, where we can share the experience of listening to the sounds of the Cape.’
The all-inclusive tickets cost R450 per person, and cover soup and Glühwein on arrival, live jazz entertainment, and a hearty fondue meal served with complimentary Delheim wines. Access to a lovely coffee bar is also included in the fee. Tickets can be purchased from Webtickets, but are limited and must be booked in advance in order to take part in this fabulous series.
Becoming a member of the Delheim Wine Club will allow you to have multiple benefits such as preferential booking for events such as this one, while also keeping up to date with news.
