Jolly jelly shots

Everyone needs a bit of fun and colour during the festive season, so Roxy has whipped together this recipe for you to enjoy. Plus we made a little video to show you just how easy it is and how amazing these shots look!

MAKES 10 double shots // COOKING TIME 15 min + setting time

INGREDIENTS
For the red layer
1 sachet raspberry jelly
½ cup vodka, mixed with ½ cup cold water
For the green layer
1 sachet greengage jelly
½ cup apple sours, mixed with ½ cup cold water
For the white layer
½ cup condensed milk, heated until boiling
1 sachet litchi jelly
½ cup peppermint schnapps, mixed with ½ cup cold water

METHOD
For the red layer
1. Stir the jelly powder into 1 cup boiling water until it is dissolved.
2. Add the vodka mixture and stir well.
3. Fill each double shot glass ⅓ of the way. Place in the fridge to set.
For the green layer
1. Stir the jelly powder into 1 cup boiling water until it is dissolved.
2. Add the apple sours mixture and stir well.
3. Pour on top of the set red layer until each shot glass is ⅔ full. Place in the fridge to set.
For the white layer
1. Combine the boiling condensed milk with ½ cup boiling water.
2. Dissolve the jelly in the condensed-milk mixture and stir well.
3. Add the schnapps mixture and stir well.
4. Pour on top of the set green layer, filling up the shot glasses. Refrigerate until set.
