As if Fridays aren’t already an occassion to drink wine and let your hair down (literally), La Petite Ferme is taking it to the next level with #FestiveFriday. In celebration of the festive season, La Petite Ferme is serving a unique selection of hand-crafted cocktails and decadent bites at 4pm until 6pm every Friday from 9 December 2016 until 13 January 2017. Live music will also be played whilst you enjoy the beautiful scenery of Franschhoek valley.
La Petite Ferme have set out a zesty menu of #FestiveFriday cocktails, each prepared with a unique touch. In addition to these fabulous cocktails and the estate’s serene deli area, a newly-renovated restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner from Monday until Sunday. Lebanese interior designer Claudia Chahine, and Cape Town’s talented ceramicist Mervyn Gers have outdone themselves with the interior design, opting for elegance over opulence. Gers’ beautifully handcrafted dinnerware collection reflects the restaurant’s distinctive attributes. Special recycled glassware was also made especially for the restaurant by Ngwenya Glass.
La Petite Ferme’s new summer menu features a variety of remarkable dishes, ranging from small plates and nibbles to exuberant entrees and delectable desserts, all complemented with fine local wines. Executive chef Neethling du Toit says that guests can still look forward to the restaurant’s signature styling of dishes, but with an extra twist of course.
Presentation, flavour and service are three essential elements that build up La Petite Ferme’s explicit reputation as a sophisticated fine-dining destination. In addition to its restaurant and deli, La Petite Ferme also have luxurious accommodation available with vineyard suites in its grand Manor House. It is also the perfect location for weddings and functions.
