In the world of beer, good things come in sixes, and this year TOPS at SPAR Bierfest celebrates its 6th annual Bavarian beer culture tour.

TOPS at SPAR are making the most of it with a brand-new venue and an expanded entertainment programme and festival layout, all of which will be ready and waiting for Durbanites this weekend!

Their aim is to bring the very best of the ever-legendary Bavarian Oktoberfest to a uniquely South African setting. Be prepared to enjoy the best of traditional Bavarian foods and freshly-brewed craft beers. You can also let loose with a few classical Oktoberfest games, on-the-spot competitions, pop-rock favourites and the chance to win a trip to Oktoberfest in Munich 2017.

Of note: All food and drink purchases at the festival are made using Bierfest ‘Crowns’. Crowns are available in denominations of R30 and are sold in packs of five (non-refundable). The event is not open to anyone under the age of 18 years.

1. Braumeister (V-VIP) from R875 per person; includes a 3-course meal and eight crowns with some fun dress-up options included!
2. Brauhaus (VIP) from R445 per person; includes a 2-course meal four crowns and costume accessories.
3. Über Bier Hall from R195 per person for the day-time session (Saturday), R215 per person for night time session; includes 1 x 500 ml bier, bier tastings and a dress-up item.
4. Standard Bier Hall Ticket from R125 per person for the day-time session (Saturday) and R140 per person for the night-time session; includes entrance to the event, along with a complimentary bier tasting.
