We put a great spin on both the humble potato bake and the chicken dinner by combining the two, as well as adding healthier ingredients and Asian flavours. This sweet potato bake is a perfect mid-week one-pan family meal with hardly any hands-on time and a great way to include protein, carbs and nutrients, making for a balanced plate.
Being a WWF-SASSI ambassador and forager, I love the ocean and cooking with the fresh ingredients found on my doorstep in Grotto Bay. This is one of the signature dishes that started my career with the Ultimate Braai Master back in 2014. I have a few mussel recipes, but nothing beats this or tastes as true to the ocean as this one. It’s the greatest WWF-SASSI recipe ever!

There are plenty delicious veggie products that’ll save you money, and they’re all available at your nearest food store. Nowadays, more and more people are choosing the vegetarian (and vegan) route, so grocery stores are supplying more alternative food options at lower prices!
