Have some leftover bread you’re keen to use up? We fashioned these cinnamon and sugar biscotti out of stale baguette for a a super simple sweet treat.
MAKES 10 // COOKING TIME 20 min
INGREDIENTS
Leftover baguette, cut into fingers
100 g butter
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch salt
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 170°C.
2. Place the bread on a baking tray. Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and salt.
3. Bake for 8–12 minutes until golden.
4. Serve with tea or coffee.
