<p><span data-contrast="auto">Move over French toast, there’s a new (and delicious) breakfast in town! Milk toast took #FoodTok by storm, and we can see (and taste, </span><i><span data-contrast="auto">and</span></i><span data-contrast="auto"> smell) why. Start by melting butter in a pan on medium heat. Then, add your slices of bread and pour over milk. Toast both sides of the bread – the milk will evaporate, leaving you with golden milk toast to which you can add fruit and a drizzle of honey, maple syrup or condensed milk. Yum!</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<h2><b><span data-contrast="auto">Homemade mozzarella cheese</span></b><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></h2>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Who knew you can make fresh mozzarella at home with only two ingredients? And it all comes together in about an hour. We’ll take you through it: In a big pot, warm up 2 litres of milk and add 7 tablespoons of white vinegar (or any other citric acid), then wait until it separates into cheese curd and liquid whey. Collect the curd, strain it and stretch it until you get smooth balls of mozzarella! The perfect pizza and lasagna topping. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

Heat milk to 46°C, take off the heat, add vinegar, stir to combine, cover with a lid then leave for 10 mins 2. Remove cheese curds from the liquid whey and shape into balls, squeezing as much liquid out as possible 3. Heat the whey up to 65°C and add the balls of mozz back in, one at a time for 30 second increments, then take out, stretch and pull until it becomes elastic and smooth 4. Repeat this step 2-4 times until a nice smooth texture is achieved 5. Shape the mozzarella into a ball, salt can be added now 6. Place the finished balls into a bowl of ice water for 10-15 mins 7. Store the cheese in this water, or the whey and keep it in the fridge for 1-1.5 weeks <a title="freshmozz" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/freshmozz?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#freshmozz</a> <a title="howtomakemozzarella" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/howtomakemozzarella?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#howtomakemozzarella</a> <a title="mozzarellarecipe" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/mozzarellarecipe?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#mozzarellarecipe</a> <a title="simplecooking" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/simplecooking?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#simplecooking</a> <a title="easyrecipe" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/easyrecipe?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#easyrecipe</a> <a title="cheesepull" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/cheesepull?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#cheesepull</a> <a title="cheesepulling" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/cheesepulling?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#cheesepulling</a> <a title="2ingredients" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/2ingredients?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#2ingredients</a> <a title="foodie" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/foodie?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#foodie</a> <a title="cheese" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/cheese?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#cheese</a> <a title="explorefood" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/explorefood?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#explorefood</a> <a title="howtomake" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/howtomake?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#howtomake</a> <a title="makeitathome" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/makeitathome?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#makeitathome</a> <a title="madefromscratch" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/madefromscratch?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#madefromscratch</a> <a title="♬ Dolce Nonna - Wayne Jones &amp; Amy Hayashi-Jones" href="https://www.tiktok.com/music/Dolce-Nonna-6712420715863214082?refer=embed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">♬ Dolce Nonna &#8211; Wayne Jones &amp; Amy Hayashi-Jones</a></section>

<h2><b><span data-contrast="auto">Red wine milk</span></b><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></h2>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">As with a lot of TikTok recipes, it’s difficult to tell where this viral drink started, but it sure grabbed attention. All you need to do is mix red wine and milk, and voila! – a delicious milky cocktail is born. “At first, this might seem like an absurd combination, but it actually makes a lot of sense from a structural perspective. Red wine contains acidity, some sweetness, tannins and aromatics. Condensed milk supplies sweetness, which can balance out the acidity in the wine, and fats which can buffer any harshness from the tannins, especially if you’re using a not-so-great wine,” says </span><i><span data-contrast="auto">Drink What You Want: The Deck</span></i><span data-contrast="auto"> creator </span><a href="https://www.amazon.com/product/dp/1454952083" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span data-contrast="none">John deBary</span></a><span data-contrast="auto">. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
