<p><b>SERVES</b> 4 <b>// COOKING TIME</b> 25–30 min</p>
<p class="p1"><b>INGREDIENTS<br />
</b><b>400g</b> steak<br />
<b>3 tbsp</b> olive oil<br />
<b>2 tbsp</b> soy sauce<br />
<b>2 tbsp</b> sesame seeds, plus extra to garnish<br />
<b>1 tbsp</b> honey<br />
Juice of <b>1</b> lemon or lime, plus wedges to serve<br />
<b>½ tbsp</b> tahini or nut butter<br />
<b>1</b> baby gem lettuce<br />
<b>1</b> avocado, sliced<br />
<b>½</b> cucumber, sliced into batons<br />
<b>½</b> red onion, finely chopped<br />
Coriander, to garnish</p>
<p class="p1"><b>METHOD<br />
</b><b>1.</b> Bash the steak with a rolling pin or meat tenderiser and place in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp oil, the soy sauce, sesame seeds, honey and lemon or lime juice. Toss to coat, then leave to marinate for 10–15 minutes.<br />
<span class="s1"><b>2.</b> Heat the remaining oil in a pan over </span><span class="s2">high heat and fry the steak for a few </span>minutes on each side until cooked to <span class="s1">your preference. Remove and set aside.<br />
</span><span class="s2"><b>3.</b> Add the marinade and tahini or </span><span class="s1">nut butter to the pan with the cooking </span>juices, and cook for a few minutes.<br />
<b>4.</b> Slice the steak into strips and toss it in the sauce. Place the lettuce on a plate and top with the steak, avocado, <span class="s3">cucumber and red onion. Pour over any </span><span class="s2">extra sauce. Garnish with coriander </span><span class="s1">and<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>sesame seeds. Serve immediately </span>with lime wedges.</p>
