An attractive apple with red and yellow tones. It has a soft texture and a mild, sweet flavour, so it’s ideal for apple sauce. Grown all over the world, it’s a fairly small fruit – perfect for children.

FUJI

Developed in Japan, these large red apples survive well, even outside of the fridge. They are good eating apples with a refreshing taste.

JAZZ

This new sweet-tart apple boasts a loud crunch with every bite. It is famous for its tangy sweet taste, crunch, and refreshing, juicy bite.

GRANNY SMITH

A long-standing champ, it was originally prized as a cooking apple. However, its sour flavour offers a tasty way for those without a sweet tooth to get their apple a day.

GOLDEN DELICIOUS

This beautiful yellow-green apple has a sugary taste and tender flesh that’s meltingly delicious in tarts and crumbles. No surprise, it’s one of the most popular varieties in the world.

HONEYCRISP

As the name suggests, this apple has a honey-like flavour and crisp flesh. Its claim to fame is larger than usual cells that burst when bitten, filling your mouth with juice. Mmm!

SWEETIE

A new apple and a cross between Braeburn and Royal Gala, Sweetie has a pretty two-tone exterior with a crunchy texture inside. Its sweet taste and long shelf life make it perfect for lunch boxes.

OPAL®
