Societi Bistro goes global with an offering of 21 international menus served for only 4 days each throughout the winter months this year.

The set menu options each feature modest and traditional meals from across the globe, with different countries or regions representing the theme base for each offering. Each menu is also served with an exquisite South African wine.

While they are already halfway through, don’t worry! There’s still plenty of deliciousness coming your way. After taking a breather to launch their winter menu, Societi’s global extravaganza will continue (in France) on 4 July.

Patron chef and exceptionally renowned baker, Jean-Pierre Smith, creates an abundance of beautifully presented and delightfully tasteful dishes: crisp salads, freshly baked cakes, cheese and charcuterie platters, succulent chicken and beef dishes, whatever your fancy, there’s something for you!

But instead of just talking about it, let us show you some of our favourite delectables from their new summer menu:

Salt roasted beetroot and barley salad

Gluten-free gnocchi with burnt sage butter

Free-range chicken prego on a sweet potato Portuguese roll with tomato salad and cucumber raita

Lightly smoked salmon and roast potato salad with creamy dill and mustard dressing

Kingklip served with saffron Beurre Blanc sauce, crayfish tail and seasonal vegetables

Lamb burger served on roasted butternut disc with red onion marmalade and brinjal chutney

Lusty ice cream sundae
